This course explores the impact of domestic abuse and related harms on children, young people and families. Participants will develop understanding of the effects of trauma, key risk indicators and barriers to disclosure, while building confidence in trauma-informed, child-centred safeguarding approaches. The course also highlights effective safety planning, multi-agency working and referral pathways to support children and families.
