About Naomi
Naomi is a domestic abuse and stalking specialist, trainer, and consultant with over 15 years of frontline experience across criminal justice, social care, housing, and education.
A SafeLives-qualified Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA), she has extensive experience supporting high-risk victims of domestic abuse, stalking, and sexual violence. Her career has included roles within the courts, police teams, Children's Services, housing departments, refuges, and No Recourse to Public Funds teams, as well as Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Domestic Abuse Coordinator roles with local authorities and national charities, including Victim Support, Solace Women's Aid, and Refuge.
Naomi also delivers Out of Court Resolution (OOCR) interventions and training on behalf of police and criminal justice partners. With a background in criminology and sociology, she brings a strong understanding of abuse, power dynamics, and social inequality to both her frontline work and training delivery.
Her approach is shaped by a combination of professional expertise, academic knowledge, and lived experience of growing up in a home affected by domestic abuse and stalking. She creates compassionate, honest learning environments that help people build the confidence and understanding to respond safely and with empathy.
Naomi is committed to improving how services understand and respond to abuse, supporting organisations and practitioners to strengthen their safeguarding approaches and make a meaningful difference to the people they work with.
Naomi was a great facilitator of the subject. Very knowledgeable, calm and empathetic.Taye Training Delegate
