About Sarah
Sarah brings over 25 years of experience working across a range of roles in the charity sector, both in the UK and in France. Her work has consistently centred around supporting vulnerable communities, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and equality of opportunity.
Most recently, Sarah worked for 10 years in both frontline and management roles within a domestic abuse outreach service. One of the most rewarding aspects of this work was facilitating transformational recovery programmes for survivors, which is an experience that continues to inform her facilitation today.
Sarah delivers engaging, trauma-informed sessions and specialises in domestic abuse (including coercive control), risk assessment and safety planning. Her training is grounded in both professional and lived experience, with sessions shaped by case studies and real-world insights. She aims to create supportive learning environments where participants can build their knowledge, reflect on their practice and leave with practical tools they can use in their own roles.
The facilitator was very knowledgeable and happy to discuss points further. Great interactive session.Taye Training Delegate
