Giving Back
At Transform Your Training, we know the difference that kindness can make. We believe that small actions, shared time and genuine support can create lasting change within communities. When people are supported well, everyone benefits.
Giving back is not an add-on for us; it’s part of who we are. We are committed to supporting individuals, small charities and community organisations, as well as our local community in York and beyond.
We do this in practical and meaningful ways. From free resources and scholarships on our Train the Trainer course, to our Charity of the Year, free microteaches and training solutions designed to work for smaller charities, we focus on support that is accessible, realistic and impactful.

Our Charity of the Year programme is one of the ways we live our values and give back to the communities we serve. Each year, we partner with charities that are making a genuine difference, both locally in York and nationally.
These partnerships are about more than fundraising. We work alongside our Charity of the Year organisations to offer tailored support shaped around their needs. This could include free training and workshops, consultancy and expert advice, policy guidance and ongoing support throughout the year. Our focus is on practical, meaningful input that helps charities grow stronger and increase their impact.
We are proud to support organisations that help people feel safer, more connected and better supported, whether they are working with families, responding to crisis, reducing isolation or improving wellbeing.

We know that for smaller charities and organisations, accessing high-quality professional development can be challenging. Limited budgets and time pressures often mean CPD is pushed to the side, even though it is so vital for people and services.
That is why we offer a range of accessible CPD microteach sessions through our Hub+ Community, all delivered using our Training 4 Influence methodology. These include regular Lunch and Learn sessions, as well as twice-yearly Train the Trainer Assessment microteaches. These sessions are more than assessments. They are practical, values-led learning experiences designed to create influence, embed learning and provide real takeaways.
With multiple sessions running across each month, there is always a wide variety of topics to choose from. These range from safeguarding and domestic abuse, to emotional resilience, leadership and management, coaching and more.
As part of our commitment to supporting small charities, we can offer free access to our Hub+ Community. If you would like to find out more, please get in touch with us. If you are not a small charity, you can still explore everything the Hub+ Community has to offer with a two-week free trial.
We know that lived experience can make a powerful difference in values-led training. We see this every day through our incredible facilitators, whose insight, authenticity and understanding help create learning that truly connects.
Our Train the Trainer course has the potential to create real change. It equips people with the skills, confidence and belief to deliver values-led training and to recognise that their knowledge, experience and voice matter. That they are already an expert.
We do not want cost to be a barrier to that opportunity. That is why we offer scholarships for our 12-week Train the Trainer course to people with lived experience of disadvantage, supporting those who may not otherwise be able to access professional training and development.
We also offer a dedicated scholarship for people within the trans community, in memory of a much-loved facilitator who embodied our values and commitment to inclusive, compassionate training. You can find out more about this scholarship here.
