About Tammy

Brief Biography

Tammy Banks is the strategic lead for Transform Your Training, a company founded by two best friends who were frustrated by the time and money wasted on poor training in sectors they care deeply about.

Dedicated to revolutionising the way training is delivered, Tammy places a strong emphasis on values-led approaches that make a lasting impact.

She founded the award-winning Train the Trainer methodology. Her vision for this initiative is deeply rooted in her own lived experience.

Tammy has co-developed Transform Your Training into a thriving, sustainable business that makes a real difference.

Tammy is a 2x TEDx speaker and has received multiple awards, including Women of Innovation 2023. She also serves as the Chair of Children’s Services in Sunderland and is a Fellow of Westminster Abbey.

With over 15 years of experience in frontline services and as a former Lay Member on the House of Commons Committee for Standards, Tammy continues to drive change, grounded in her belief in the power of quality training and values-led leadership.
