About Sophie

Sophie is passionate about using equity, diversity and inclusion principles to support individuals and organisations to build and embed practices that challenge discrimination and oppression.

With a background in the violence against women and girls’ movement, Sophie has worked as a frontline volunteer, facilitator and organiser. It was through this work that she began developing the skills and knowledge to challenge organisational practice and support positive change. She is also the Director of Speak! Training and Consulting, an organisation focused on supporting organisations on their anti-oppression journey.

Sophie brings together professional expertise and lived experience as a disabled, neurodivergent and queer woman. As a facilitator with Transform Your Training, she delivers across a range of subject areas and is committed to supporting meaningful learning and reflection around what are often challenging topics.
